Are you looking to join an independent, women run fashion company? We're looking for warm, outgoing collaborators to join our small team to run our Malia Mills store in the Marin Country Mart. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities. We're looking for a senior manager or manager in training as well as sales associates.
Malia Mills is an entrepreneurial company specializing in luxury swim, ready to wear and accessories - the essentials to pack your dream suitcase. Our brand was launched in New York City in 1993 out of Malia’s apartment where she sewed by day and moonlighted at a restaurant at night. Our mission, mantra and driving force is Love thy Differences™.
Our home base is New York City. We have a Malia Mills store in Soho as well as Bridgehampton, NY. In addition to Marin, we also have stores in Montecito and Los Angeles.
Our stores are small, dynamic spaces and our one-on-one fit and styling sessions are where we make connections and swap stories. We take pride in sharing the many ways our luxurious, made in America, bra-sized swim and ready-to-wear can be worn to celebrate the feminine fierce. We also showcase beautiful products from other designers we admire.

The role of our Marin sales associate is an active, on the floor, entrepreneurial position that supports our team to grow a beautifully run business in the Marin Country Mart. This includes but is not limited to:
- nurturing rad relationships with visitors and teammates near and far
- one-on-one fit and styling sessions
- teamwork, attention to detail and going the extra mile
- operational excellence including troubleshooting our POS system, computers, internet etc.
- shipping and receiving goods
- merchandising our collection to create an eye catching store
The role also includes building relationships with our neighbors in the Mart as well as working with our local community to build our business via collaborations and events. It's a nuanced, proactive role that resonates beyond the walls of our stores.
At Malia Mills we don't have multiple layers of management. Everyone on our team wears many hats to contribute, learn, grow.
