We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new boutique in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of San Francisco and we're looking for a Sales Associate to join our team. This role is a good fit for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to represent a brand that champions artistry and empowerment. 

What You’ll Do:

• Create a welcoming, inspiring, and personalized shopping experience for every customer, building meaningful connections that go beyond transactions.

• Provide one-on-one fit and styling sessions to help clients feel confident and celebrated in our designs.

• Prepare and ship personalized online orders with care and attention to detail, ensuring every package reflects the Malia Mills spirit.

• Collaborate with our retail teams in California and New York, as well as our NYC studio, to share ideas, feedback, and inspiration.

• Share the Malia Mills story with authenticity and passion, bringing the brand’s ethos to life in every interaction.

• Maintain the boutique’s visual and operational excellence, ensuring every detail reflects the brand’s standards.

• Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn, grow, and bring new ideas to the table.

• Help create a culture of kindness, positivity, and collaboration within the boutique and the larger Malia Mills community.

What We’re Looking For:

• A natural communicator who loves engaging with people and making them feel seen and valued.

• Someone with a sharp eye for style and a genuine enthusiasm for fashion and design.

• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative.

• Basic proficiency with computers, including POS systems and familiarity with tools like Excel.

• The ability to move merchandise and fixtures weighing a minimum of 40 lbs to help create a dynamic and inviting boutique space.

• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays, as needed to support the boutique and your teammates.

In this role, you will:

• Create and execute an extraordinary client experience, one interaction at a time.

• Collaborate on merchandising and storytelling to bring our collections to life in the boutique.

• Champion operational excellence while embracing creativity and intuition in decision-making.

• Demonstrate proficiency with basic computer skills, including POS systems and Excel, to manage store operations and reporting.

• Be comfortable moving merchandise, furniture, and fixtures weighing a minimum of 40 lbs to create a dynamic, inviting boutique environment.

• Work a flexible full-time schedule, including rotating holidays and weekends, to support the needs of the business and your team.
