join malia mills as an intern

Malia Mills is an independent, sister-owned small business. Love thy Differences™ is our mission, our mantra, our driving force - when we stop trying to change the way we look and we embrace, celebrate, love thy differences, we liberate ourselves to lead bold and not so well-behaved lives.

Over twenty years ago, Malia Mills pioneered a “veritable body image revolution” (Vogue) with our first collection of bra-sized swim separates engineered to fit like lingerie, crafted out of luxurious fabrics in rich colors and textures, all designed to be an extension of the clothes in our closet.

Today, we have four company-owned stores and our e-boutique where we showcase our signature swim collection in addition to our ready-to-wear and accessories - all dedicated to celebrate the feminine fierce, all made in America to make a difference.

As an intern you will work with our studio and stores teams. Your day might include quality control, tagging and distributing merchandise from our studio to our stores; organizing tech packs, samples, fabrics and notions to launch the production of a new style; collecting imagery and writing copy for newsletters, organizing samples before, during and after a photoshoot; hand cutting samples; brainstorming and implementing social media ideas; uploading new products to our website... and a ton more.

If you have a hell yes attitude, a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and a passion for leading with an inspiring and inclusive voice on the subject of women and beauty, we want to work with you.

This is an unpaid internship for school credit. Please email your resume and cover letter to

Thank you!
